Donation Requests from Dumas Noon Lions Club

Dumas Noon Lions Club wants to make the community it serves a better place to live work and prosper. That's why we're proud to donate to a wide range of worthy causes that request funding. We encourage qualified nonprofit organizations in Moore County or local Panhandle area that is in good standing to apply for donation funding. Dumas Noon Lions Club Board members will review requests and announce the charities that will be receiving funding.

 Qualified nonprofit organizations must submit a written request with proof of tax exemption under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code to be eligible for consideration.

The assistance is based upon available funds allocated by the Dumas Noon Lions Club Board of Directors and its members on a yearly basis: July 1 through June 30.

How to Apply?

Requests must be in writing, but please be brief - not more than two pages. If necessary, you will be contacted for further information or support materials.

Your request letter should include:

• A brief description of your organization.
• What funding you are requesting.  (Amount)
• How the funding will be used.
• How was funding spent last year? (If you received funding last year)

It is also important that you enclose a copy of your IRS determination letter granting your organization tax-exempt status under Section 501(c) (3).

When to Apply?

Donation requests will be accepted till July 31, 2008. The requests will be reviewed by the Dumas Noon Lions Club Board of Directors. The requests will be announced shortly thereafter.
